About Me

My name is Ann McGaver.

 

I graduated from Liberty University with my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology: Crisis Counseling and went on to secure my Master's Degree at Liberty University in Human Services Counseling: Life Coaching. In addition, I received my Certification as a SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts) Assessment Facilitator.

I am the mother of 13 children (10 boys and 3 girls) and the grandmother of 12 grandchildren (5 boys and 7 girls). I have homeschooled all of my children since 1992. I am divorced after 35 years of marriage and live with my three kids who are finishing their high school education. My life has taken turns that I could not have predicted, but God is good and I continue to live for Him. As the Bible reads, "Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended: but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (NKJV, Philippians 3:13-14).

I have taken all the necessary steps to become a Christian Life Coach. I have taken these steps because I sincerely believe my Scripture Mission Statement drives me to offer comfort to those who want change, to those who are hurting, and to those who want to move forward in their lives. In addition, I am working on a Certificate in Professional Christian Life Coaching and another Certificate in Mental Health Coaching from Light University. I have a strong desire to continue learning as much as I can about mental health as it pertains to coaching and crisis so I can help others.
